NORVITCH Sylvia C. Norvitch, 83, of Kenwood Avenue, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2002, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Duluth and a graduate of East High School in 1938. Sylvia joined the Women's Army Corps. in 1943 and served for the rest of World War II. She was a member of Temple Israel Congregation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon M. Norvitch. She is survived by her children, Lynda Norvitch; Irwin and Lori Norvitch; Joel and Debbie Norvitch and a grandson, a Army Specialist, Larry Norvitch. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE: At 1 PM today, Tuesday, in Adas Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
